Sojourner Recovery Services is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Butler County, Ohio. Sojourner is committed to be the provider of choice for individuals, families, and communities in need of substance abuse and mental health services.
The 10th Annual Sojourner 5K Run ~Walk ~Wag will be held on June 13, 2020 in Hamilton, Ohio. This 3.1 mile run/walk begins and ends at our clinic at 1430 University Blvd. with a beautiful route along the Miami River.
Your participation helps provide each new residential client a Basket of Hope and opportunities for people to receive treatment. The Basket of Hope contains: new sheets, towels, blanket, pillow, personal hygiene items and a journal. Though it may be challenging to imagine, many of our clients come to us with few or little amenities. Our Basket of Hope offers a positive beginning step to an individual’s recovery journey.
Last year’s event, allowed us to not only provide over 325 Baskets of Hope, it gave us the opportunity to educate our community about the often misunderstood disease of addiction. If we exceed fundraising goals for the Basket of Hope, all additional revenue will be used to provide people access to treatment.
